The Purpose of the Toowoomba Youth Foundation.

TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO SERVICES, FACILITIES AND CREATE NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL YOUTH TO TRANSFORM THEIR OWN LIVES BY PROVIDING SELF EMPOWERING AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES THAT LEAD THEM TO HAVE A FULLFILLING AND REWARDING LIFE.
 

The TYF through its youth centre will help the youth on the road to a healthy and successful life, by supplying a place for those on the road to success, excel and achieve the potential within them, and help those who need some help and guidance with the confidence and fundamentals to achieve their goals and dreams.

The lack of community based activities, entertainment, boredom, drugs and alcohol combined with the lack of guidance and support fosters a downward spiral in our youth, which we as a community need to help them address and conquer these problems and challenges in a positive way.

The Toowoomba Youth Foundation Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation and is working towards being self-reliant and self-funding in the future.
We will use commercial activities in the youth centre to fund the foundations youth facilities.
During the initial development phase of the TYF we are relying on the community, business partnerships, donations, sponsorships and some government funding to take us to the point where it can become self-funding for the long term.
